Sarah Nichols is a fiber artist and potter living and working in Bloomington, Indiana. After growing up in a small, rural Indiana town, Sarah moved to Chicago to attend Columbia College to study Art History. Her work follows paths of inspiration in traditional fiber arts, informed both by study and travel, as well as a childhood heavily influenced by creative women including her mother and grandmothers. Pottery serves as a counterbalance to the softness and structure of Sarah’s fiber practice.

Sarah also offers private lessons in sewing, knitting, and mending, as well as teaching classes in her community. If interested in a private lesson, please fill out the contact form below.
